High Pressure Expansion Joints

High Pressure Expansion Joints
High Pressure Expansion Joints are specialized components used to connect high pressure pipelines or pipeline systems. Their main function is to absorb deformation and stress caused by thermal expansion, vibration, or other factors in the pipeline system to protect the safety and integrity of the pipeline. High pressure expansion joints are typically made of metal materials with high pressure resistance, strength, and wear resistance. They can also be designed and customized according to the specific needs and working conditions of the pipeline system.

Product Introduction

High Pressure Expansion Joints are specialized components used to connect high pressure pipelines or pipeline systems. Their main function is to absorb deformation and stress caused by thermal expansion, vibration, or other factors in the pipeline system to protect the safety and integrity of the pipeline. High pressure expansion joints are typically made of metal materials with high pressure resistance, strength, and wear resistance. They can also be designed and customized according to the specific needs and working conditions of the pipeline system.

This product can be designed with reinforcement rings or balancing rings, which are located on the outside of the bellows to prevent the bellows from being squeezed out from high pressure. The main purpose of these devices is to reinforce the bellows under high internal pressure, so that the bellows will not creep, and to balance the movement between all bellows.

The pressure balancing ring and reinforcement ring are made of carbon steel, stainless steel or other suitable alloys. The cross-section of the reinforcement ring is usually T-shaped, and the balancing ring is usually made of pipe or solid round bar of suitable material.

Bellows with reinforcement rings or pressure balancing rings can be used in any type of expansion joint (axial, lateral, or angular). The disadvantage of these bellows is that they increase the stiffness of the bellows and limit the movement of the bellows.
